Lord of the Rings

This is my all time favorite movie series and there are so many parts that I see parallel to the Bride in these scenes.  Of course I know Tolkien did not mean for this to represent the days of the Bride yet....they so awesomely do at times!  Bear with me as I bring these to your attention. Note that going to full screen gives you the best results!

He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all nations and peoples of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed

Daniel 7:14

The Lord gave me a word about 10 days ago and I know I was to bring it to your attention. Meanwhile a few things happened that are causing me to understand WHY He gave me that word. Some of my friends are falling for deceptive teachings…some are even teaching doctrines of demons and they are using Bible verses to back up their “proof”. These teachings make me doubt what I know, and when I doubt…I go to the Lord for truth. I ask Him to show it to me and He does, sometimes when I am looking for something else, sometimes when I find other false teachings or “Words” from the same person, and sometimes He just tells me. What He is wanting us to do in these days, is to hold firm in our beliefs that He Himself taught us over these past few years. Stand strong in the knowledge that He has given us.

Remain resolute in what you believe and know is His Truth!

I share this video of Strider giving a speech at the Black Gate, right before he takes on the biggest baddest army of them all in Lord of the Rings. Because this is what we are to do now…when we can do nothing else…STAND!
Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong.  1 Corinthians 16:13
Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything,
to stand firm. Ephesians 6:13

The End of all Things

I am reminded that the end of all things as we know it is near.  It will seem hopeless and full of calamity, yet our Lord WILL rescue us!  It WILL happen.  And we will be overwhelmed with pure joy!

Yet those who wait for the LORD Will gain new strength; They will mount up with wings like eagles, They will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary.
Isaiah 40:31

Christ's Power through His Bride

Please do not be offended by this video...when I watch this, I think of how God's power will flow through His Bride and demons will be cast out and run from us!  This is one of my favorite scenes and truly I get Holy Spirit chills watching this, for we know it is not the power of us, but the power of Christ when He wields His Word through us oh so very soon!

I See Fire - 09/11/15

Yesterday I bought the soundtrack to all three Hobbit movies and so this morning on the way to work I plugged in my favorite song

"I see Fire" by Ed Sheeran.

As soon as it started, I immediately felt sadness, recalling this day 14 years ago.  I was at work, arriving early before others and just reading the news.  I looked on foxnews and saw what happened and thought to myself, "This is no accident".  The world changed after that.

As I listened to this song this morning, all the sadness of that fire came back and brought tears to my eyes. Please listen in memory of those that fell.

Stay Focused on Him!

I see this scene as one of the Bride, the Dragon, and the Lord.  God the Father is in charge of ALL things and holds the Bow that will strike the dragon.  Smaug (the dragon) hates the Master Bowman and is threatening the father's child (the Bride).

Yet God knows in the end His weapon will win and He will work with the Bride to defeat the Dragon.  The Bride is fearful, VERY fearful...as the enemy is now very close to us and breathing fire.  But God directs us to look at Him, focus on HIM, obey Him!  Keep your eyes on Him and not the chaos in the days ahead!

How the Bride May Appear to the Enemy

I saw this in the recent 2nd movie for The Hobbit and keep seeing it as potential for what the Bride will do.  My friend edited this clip to show only what I needed.  Imagine that this female is the Bride and she is going to help another, and the evil one thinks he can turn her away and POOF...he's gone when she throws out the Light!  Jesus is our Light!  He is WITHIN us and will take care of all things.  So please do not misunderstand and see this as anything other than me and my imagination. This is not OUR power (like in the movie) but rather The Almighty's power within us once we are transformed!

"My message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,  so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God."

1 Corinthians 2:4-5
